5 years ago, we commissioned a very talented, local artist/sculptor to construct this wonderfully detailed model of The Incursore (The "Attacker"). They were originally made in limited quantities, and were sold out in a matter of months. Since then, we have been inundated, with customer requests for this collectable figurine. Finally, we succumbed to the over 200 inquiries.
This caricature of an Italian naval diver, is made of solid resin, and has been derived from the artists original prototype. The Desktop Incursore measures approx. 7.5 inches tall, has a fixed base and a movable head, which wobbles with the slightest movement. The model was sculpted with strict attention to details such as the full vintage wet suit and leather straps, re-breathing gear, wristwatch, depth gauge and compass.
There have been pirated (fake) versions of the Desktop Incursore being sold on the Internet for $160 plus. Some have been seen on a well-known auction site, being re-sold for $250 +. We are the original creators of this model, so rest assured, you will be buying a genuine item.
